Expectations
I hold high expectations for all of my students both academically as well as socially. It is my true belief that clear expectations result in a more comfortable environment and therefore more opportunity for learning. I expect that all students put forth their best effort, respect others, and contribute to the classroom in a positive manner. As a class we will make a very short list of classroom rules that will be posted in the room.
Communication
Education is a partnership between home and school. Parent involvement at every level is valued and encouraged. In order for this partnership to be effective, we need to be able to communicate. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any concerns or questions about your child’s education. E-mail is the most efficient way to contact me. I check my e-mail at least three times a day, typically the morning, mid-day and after school. Another great source of communication is the student planner (these are checked each morning for a parent signature).
